FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: February 5, 2008

Cary, N.C. - Cary Printing is proud to announce that the company has reduced it's quarterly water consumption by fifty percent.

The savings comes from a year long company-wide effort to promote conservation awareness, repair faulty equipment and replace older equipment with more efficient devices.

"I was blown away when they presented the figures to me" stated Tim Bannister, President of Cary Printing. "The efforts our employees have made is a testament to their belief in our triple bottom line initiatives.

Last year, Cary Printing began a focus on conserving water and energy. Among the items that were addressed were not only the obvious ones, such as leaking faucets and toilets, but identifying processes and procedures that could be changed in order to conserve. Cary Printing also replaced equipment with newer technology that uses less water. The savings resulted in a water consumption reduction from 120,050 gallons of water used in the fourth quarter of 2006 to 59,820 gallons used in the fourth quarter 2007.

"Cary Printing is committed to fostering a sustainable future" stated Tim Bannister. "Our long term focus is on setting an example as an eco-friendly business that will make a difference for our clients, our children and our planet."
